I was thinking about why I write and roleplay (though a complicated train of thoughts beginning with Kyo). I realize it's how I express everything I wish to happen. My characters are facets of myself I wished existed (well, at least main characters) and what happens are events I find interesting. I suppose it's the same reason you read books; but I am the creator in this situation and have absolute power. I can even choose to never finish the story if I so wish - another thing I wish life could do (reset). When I look at pictures of cool outfits I think "ooh, I'd like to wear that", when I see a person looking good in an outfit like that I think "ooh, that'd be a good character" --> my unfulfillable (for various reasons [I don't know if "unfulfillable" is a word...?]) dreams and desires find themselves brought to life in my creations. Just as an (drawing) artist does, I assume. It's easier to be true to myself when I have vents for every part of me. Without my writing, I'd just be another confused little teenager.
Do I spend too much time in deep reflection?
